About Melchiorre Seeds

Melchiorre Seeds has been involved in the successful production, cleaning, packaging and marketing of all kinds of seeds for the past 60 years. From 1983 the Company has also been involved in overseas export.

Along with the seed works, Melchiorre Seeds operates a Quality Assured farm which produces much of the grain that is processed and sold by us. Having this combination enables us to have a greater control of growing conditions to prevent contamination and produce a high quality product, something which is being increasingly demanded by overseas and local buyers.

Melchiorre Seeds is a family owned and run Company that prides itself on personalized and caring service to its customers.

Over the years we have built up a large modern registered cleaning plant, capable of precise cleaning and packaging of all grain including Certified and Registered Seed. We have storage for in excess of 6000 tonnes of grain in clean, modern storage facilities and we distribute seed not only state wide but also interstate and overseas. All varieties sold by Melchiorre Seeds have AGWEST analysis available for customers. Also, where necessary, tests are done for CMV and Anthracnose.
